Especially unique is the Waupaca Fine Arts organization, which sponsors the Waupaca Community Theater, the annual Waupaca Art Show and the annual 130-voice Waupaca Community Oratorio Chorus concert, as well as the Winchester Academy, which is a life-time learning resource patterned after a Scandinavian folk academy.

There is always something going on in Waupaca, such as the annual Strawberry Festival in June, the Chain of Lakes Boat Show and Parade, and water ski shows on the Chain of Lakes.
